ROLE PURPOSE:
Business Analyst is responsible to assist the Executive Director for the formulation and execution of business plans by carrying out business analysis.

The incumbent is accountable for ensuring process improvements & revenue optimization. He/she will also need to play an active role in developing corporate strategy and analyzing techno economic strategic decisions.

1. Business and Strategic Plans: Contribute to strategic planning and development Develop & implement Business Plans / Strategies for the Group Support decision making by providing detailed analysis on business issues. Through cross functional interactions, identify specific areas of profit improvement for incorporating in the plans/budgets Prepare Feasibility Reports with various permutations and combinations of various projects. Develop & implement various Businesses cum Financial Models for the group. Prepare & draft concept notes, business proposals, PowerPoint presentations, strategic execution plans Strategic Planning: Competitor Analysis, Go to Market Strategy, Business Development, New Partnership analysis and Synergy analysis. Provide Extensive support to ED in a broad spectrum of capacities and activities Provide critical analytical support to facilitate decision making by ED Coordinate with functional leads for respective functional strategies and consolidate the overall plan

 

2. Market Analysis & Opportunity Assessment Ensure awareness of the global political, environmental and economic developments, including multilateral agreements, legislative changes etc. Monitor competition/industry trends and carry out SWOT analysis for the business and present new alternative business scenarios to the ED Work with cross functional teams on potential investments, strategic projects and technical evaluations. Conduct market research & analysis for strategic business planning & evolve business models for various projects. Provide timely market intelligence and research data and monitor competitors market activities and disseminate information to ED Coordinate and compile weekly performance reports and assist the ED in effectively managing day to day business activities

 

3. Financial Analysis Provide direction to gain profitability and reduce costs. Provide investment valuation Consolidate and analyze profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization across practice. Help create pipeline forecasts and broad-based financial picture for the group. Feasibility Analysis, Budgeting & Control, Valuations, Forecasting, Annual Operating Plan, Project Finance and Investments Address and resolve all billing issues. Ensure practice meets or exceeds budgeted financial objectives, including revenue and margin. Track varied Market Movements and benchmark the company with other players with basic fundamental financial analysis. Contribute to formulating budgets for the group as a whole and conduct variance analysis to determine difference between actual results and implementing corrective actions

 

4. Process Improvements & Review of MIS Identify areas of improvement through management discussions and meetings Suggest initiatives for technology enhancement Ensure business issues are identified, tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner. Assist in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules. Manage resources in accordance with project schedule. Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services to clients. Formulate and implement internal reporting systems to facilitate timely action and decision making. Ensure timely compilation of cross functional reports required for business analysis Introduce best practices and strengthen internal controls and MIS.

 

5. Internal and External Communication Identify areas of improvement through management discussions and meetings Suggest initiatives for technology enhancement Ensure business issues are identified, tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner.
